I'm an outdoors and animals guy so I think that Yellowstone is America's single greatest attraction...however...Wyoming is tough to reach and if you have limited vacation time I'm not sure if the state would make the list of places to see. If Yellowstone is at the top, one could hit the next nineteen in my top twenty fairly easily.
Even if you flew into Denver, I think I'd head south, visit a few places in Colorado, then the parks in Utah before heading up to Yellowstone - there's more bang for your buck on those trips vs. one amazing spot in Yellowstone. |
