NORTH AMERICA

North America has three of the largest fifteen countries in the world with Canada and the US ranking 2nd and 4th largest countries by land area in the world, respectively. It's a difficult continent to cover but the fact that you'd need to rent a car vs. taking trains means that there's a lot more freedom in how North America can be explored. I think this helps to get a better understanding of North America and how different regions are from one another.
I'm not sure whether it's a case of the Caribbean and Central America being in my backyard or not liking beaches and the sun or some other reason but I have not spent much time exploring the Caribbean or Central America but I plan to visit quite a few Caribbean Islands once the cruise industry starts going again. |
