Oregon has great outdoors but I think if you were to visit I'd spend more time in Portland and getting to understand the northwest spirit. Beer. Books. Coffee. Repeat. That's a great combo.
Oddly Oregon and Colorado were two of the last states I visited and then I wound up visiting them for work. I've had two business trips to Oregon and Portland is a great town to visit. After visiting, you understand why they have protests, it's a weird town, but I wouldn't hold anything you see in the news against Portland, because...it's a weird town. From here, Oregon's a fun state to explore with a great coastline and other natural attractions. |
