The first Hamill road trip was to New England with a focus on Boston. Maybe that's why I'm so jealous of New Englanders - it was the first vacation not down the Jersey Shore or to Disney World so everything seemed so cool. There's the Freedom Trail and other historical places like Paul Revere's Home. There's Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox - purchasing a classic Boston or Red Sox shirt is a must.
However, the next time I visit I think I'll blitz the "classic" stops and instead focus on watching the New England spirit. This page is a huge blank spot. I've been back in the U.S. for five years now and every summer I say "I'll go to Boston", I identify when the Red Sox will be in town, I pick out an Airbnb, I check Amtrak prices...and then I never go. 2021 will be different!
