Ljubljana is a microcosm of Slovenia. A wonderfully quiet spot that has all the best of Europe but lacks the crowds. I spent two days here at the end of a two year around-the-world trip and don't remember much other than it being a nice capstone to travels through the underrated Slovenia. Tough place for an American to justify a week-long vacation to but a place where I could spend three-months once I reach retirement. Until then.
Stone promenades lined with historical buildings.
Riverfront dining and drinking.
More stone. More historical buildings. I don't remember much. I do remember there wasn't much screaming as a must-see site. I remember it being a great spot to wander and day drink.
