Pete and I passed through Iowa at the start of our cross country trip - unless you are on a cross country trip I can't really imagine a reason why one would pass through here. It's not to say there's not a reason to it's just it's literally in the middle of the country with nothing else really around.
I already have a trip planned here - enter in Davenport (get a new map), then up to the Field of Dreams site in Dyerville, spend the night at a Frank Lloyd Wright hotel in Mason City, shoot down to Des Moines, then over to Omaha. Hopefully, fingers (on both hands) crossed, this happens in 2021. |
