One of the major factors when deciding to live in Hong Kong is the fact that they have a wide variety of good breakfast options. There are plenty of places offering Western options, there's even restaurants with breakfast burritos, however, there are distinct and local breakfast options as well. The local options range from Congee to Noodles with a couple of dishes in between. Breakfast is a good way to hit up a few of Hong Kong's iconic dining locales while saving dinner for either upscale establishments or places with a more boisterous atmosphere.
TSUI WAH - VARIOUS LOCATIONS
The "Denny's" of Hong Kong (that is a compliment) with over 30 locations chances are high there is one near you. Hong Kong diners are a must do experience and fortunately these places serve breakfast - great value for a noodle main, eggs, and coffee for under $35HKD.

SING HEUNG YUEN - 2 MEI LUN STREET
It's one of the last traditional Dai Pai dongs, Hong Kong street food stalls that hasn't moved into a cooked food centre. It's a pretty menu...select a noodle (macaroni), select a stock (tomato), then there's a wide range of meats, eggs, etc. to add. It makes sense to grab a late breakfast bowl here and then continue around the block for a light dim sum meal at Lin Hueng Teahouse

THE FLYING PAN
A bit of an expat institution because they are a dedicated Western breakfast and dining option in Wan Chai - I'm not sure what the fuss is about, I thought the place was a bit dingy and expensive - the coffee shops are a much better value and dining experience.
