MID-ATLANTIC |
My hometown region and an area that I seemed to neglect over the years. The area is compact yet packs plenty of diversity along with the financial capital of the world and political center of the U.S. There's Revolutionary and Civil War sites and even our national anthem was written during a battle in the War of 1812 in Baltimore. From Philadelphia everything - the mountains, the beach, NYC, Washington D.C. and much more - is a day trip away. Now that I'm back it's time to ramp up the exploring.
